Whirlwind Tour of Texas

Just got back from a two-day, whirlwind tour of Texas. Drove to Austin yesterday around noonish, and met up with Matt and his family. We went to Lake Travis to play with his dad's new boat. It was fun, but I don't really think I'm the water-skiing type. I'm more content to sit on the bank and enjoy the peace and quiet, or fish, or go swiming.

After getting back to my car, I said goodbye and headed to Houston to visit Crystal. We watched "A Perfect Murder," and it was pretty good. Michael Douglas makes a good evil guy. Crystal and Blake are packing up her apartment so she can leave for Africa on wednesday. Crazy. I'm envious. Makes me really want to do that post-doc in Europe when I graduate.

Alright... Now I'm going to go take a shower and then go to Kinkos to make copies of my spanish-physics tutoring flyer so I can plaster ENPH with them.

We'll see how this blog turns out. Until then, I'll still use my Xanga.
